Through a divine intervention that shook him to his core, Robert began a raw and relentless journey—not just out of addiction and mental illness, but into the purpose he was born for. He didn’t just get sober; he was restored. He went back to school and pursued a Master’s in Psychology with a focus on Addiction.
He became a Christian minister
He authored four powerful books on the subjects of spirituality and overcoming addiction, including How Free Do You Want To Be, Desperation Of A Dying Man, The Business Of Healing and A Guide To Spiritual Awakening.
He went on to build faith-based recovery programs that have grown into a nationwide movement. Today, through Zion Healing Centers—the largest and fastest-growing behavioral health franchise in the United States—his vision now spans over 25 area developments and more than 60 outpatient treatment centers open or in development across the country. What started as one man’s journey of redemption has become a coast-to-coast mission to heal the broken and restore lives through faith, science, and compassion.
